IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM COACH WEBSTER:

Attention Prospective Softball Players:  
A meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00 am in the gym.
The purpose of the meeting is to gather all papers (Participation form, Health Screening,
and Insurance Waiver.)  You are required to have all these forms before you can
participate in fall workouts. If you plan to try out for softball you need to be at this meeting.
Tryouts for the J.V. and Varsity teams will begin February 9, 2009.

CMS VOLUNTEER POLICY UPDATE AND NEEDS!!!

Please note that CMS has change their policy and all volunteers must register on the CMS website as a volunteer. It only takes a moment. https://www.cmsvolunteers.com/Please be aware we are responsible for working the concession stands for home Hopewell Football games. Here are the ones we are responsible for:October 03, 2008 - Varsity vs Garinger (6:10pm game) we need 8 volunteers to work the home concession stand.

November 06, 2008 - JV vs North Meck (6:10pm game) we need 2 volunteers to work the away concession stand.We need 2 volunteers to be at the stand by 5:30 to get things started; warm cheese, etc. Volunteers can be students but we MUST have at least one adult present at all times.Please let Avis or Luanne know if you are able to volunteer for these time slots: avis.lewis@mindspring.com or luanneg54@bellsouth.netFootball concessions is the responsibility of all sports teams at Hopewell. We only have these two events to work so please plan to come out and help.
